Mailing or Address Change Request

The following are mailed to the address shown in the Tax Assessment records:

• Tax statements
• Listing forms
• Other assessment information

Owners must notify the Assessor when the mailing address changes for real property.

Taxpayers must notify the Assessor when the mailing address or physical location changes for:

• Individual personal property
• Business personal property

For registered motor vehicles, address changes should be made with the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV).
