Computer Services
DCPL offers free computer use to everyone with a good-standing library card or a photo ID.
Patrons with lost materials or fines may be denied access to the computer until fines have been paid or lost items are returned.
Computer Usage Requirements:
- Patrons 18 years or older, and minors aged 11 to 17 with parent/guardian signed permission, may log directly into the computer using their library card number.
- Guests 18 years or older without a library card must check in with a staff member to be signed onto a computer.
- Minors aged 11 to 17 without signed parent/guardian permission must have a parent/guardian present during computer usage.
- Minors aged 10 or under must have a parent/guardian present during computer usage.
- Only the person logged into the computer may access it.
- Sound may be accessed via headphones.

Print, Copies, Fax, & Scan Service Fees:
Davidson County Public Library System branches are able to provide different services based upon available library equipment. Please check with your local branch about copy/print limits, print from mobile, and scanning options.

DCPL has a variety of digital and online resources that can be accessed anywhere. Some of these resources include access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines & eNewspapers (local and national), genealogical databases, streaming videos and music, homework help, databases and scholarly journals, Worldbook Online, standardized testing prep and study, and much more.
