The Davidson County Department of Social Services assists people in need by administering a wide range of programs. Our staff seeks new and cost-effective ways to serve families, children, and adults through the delivery of services in a caring and professional way. As we continue to see many families suffering from the effects of poverty and economic setbacks, we strive to provide our services in a timely and accurate manner. At the same time, we look to partner with families and our community resources to provide services needed where families are broken and suffering from the effects of substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health needs.
