Environmental Health Permits

Mission

The mission of the Davidson County Environmental Health Section is to safeguard life, promote human health and protect the environment through the practice of modern environmental health science, the use of technology, rules, public education and above all, dedication to the public trust.

Permitting

At the Central Permitting Department customers will be able to submit applications for all types of environmental health permits. Environmental Health staff will be in the Central Permitting office from 8 to 9 a.m. Approved permits will also be picked up at the Central Permitting office which conveniently houses a zoning officer and building permit technicians which will continue your development process.
