Do you want to learn how to play pickleball? If so, please follow the below instructions. A trained instructor will help you learn this fun game.
Introduction To Pickleball
Sign Up Process
Davidson County Parks & Recreation supports the growth of pickleball in our community.  We have developed an Introduction To Pickleball with the support of local volunteers.  Each volunteer has completed our “Train The Trainer Program” which is designed to teach the same information in the same progression to all participants.
We are pleased to offer “Introduction To Pickleball” at no cost to individuals who are new to pickleball.  These free lessons are provided on the 1st and 3rd Monday’s of each month from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on the 1st and 3rd Saturday’s of each month.  All instruction will be at the Davidson County Parks & Recreation gym, located at 555-D West Center Street Extension, Lexington, NC.  You will not need to bring any equipment for the introductory lesson.
There Are 2 Ways To Register:
1. Go to your phone apps and download Team Reach.  Once downloaded, enter the Group Code: NCDAVIDSON100.  Enter your name, email and phone number…this is confidential information that is not accessible by Davidson County Parks and Recreation or the support team.  This will get you entry to the pickleball schedule for this location.
The first and third “Introduction To Pickleball” schedule should be listed on the calendar.  Select the calendar and pick the Monday or Saturday listed that you plan to attend.  If there are fewer than 4 days before the lesson you are selecting, you need to call Andy Tuttle @ (336) 549-6440 or Bynum Tuttle @ (336) 601-2119 to confirm an instructor can be available.
2. Call Andy Tuttle @ (336) 549-6440 or Bynum Tuttle @ (336) 601-2119 to confirm your attendance.  We can confirm that someone will be available or you are too late for that particular session and must choose another date.
If you show up without a confirmation, there may not be anyone available to help you.  We are excited to provide this free instruction for new players of all ages.
