Mission Statement

The Davidson County Department of Emergency Services provides services to the community by preventing and minimizing loss of life, pain, suffering, property, and environmental damage from fires, natural disasters, man-made disasters and medical emergencies. To accomplish this, Davidson County Emergency Services will provide education, prevention, and emergency response.

Separated into 3 Divisions (Emergency Medical Services, Fire Marshal's Office, and Emergency Management), Davidson County Emergency Services has over 140 employees and serves a population of over 162,000 in a 582 square mile area with a call volume of over 22,000 annually.
